Do you work in a salon/at the client’s location?
At Bogarni Beauty Agency, we prioritize our clients’ comfort and convenience. Our team offers two flexible options to suit your needs. You can visit us at the coworking space, located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, where you’ll be in more professionally adapted environment. Alternatively, if it’s more convenient, our artists are happy to travel to your location in Paris or beyond (please note, additional fees may apply for travel outside the city).
My photo shoot is scheduled very early in the morning, what time can we start my makeup/hair preparations?
Our team is ready to begin as early as you need—whether it’s 4 a.m. or even 2 a.m.—to ensure you’re ready on time. We don’t work within fixed hours, allowing us to cater to your schedule. Please note, an additional charge applies for preparations starting before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m.
Can you accompany me on the wedding day or during the photo shoot?
Of course, our team can accompany you throughout the wedding/shooting day for touch-ups and/or style changes. Rates start at €125 per hour.
How should I prepare my skin and hair for our beauty appointment?
In most cases, all that’s required is clean, lightly moisturized skin and clean, dry hair. Based on your unique features and the services you’ve selected, we’ll provide any additional preparation guidelines to ensure the best results.
What is the difference between a bridal make-up and other types of makeup?
Bridal makeup is, in essence, a specialized form of photo makeup. However, unlike standard photo makeup, where the primary goal is to achieve a stunning result in pictures, bridal makeup demands perfection both in person and on camera. On her wedding day, the bride is the center of attention, and it’s essential for her to appear natural, radiant, and fresh in front of her guests while also looking flawless in photographs. Achieving this delicate balance requires a highly skilled makeup artist with extensive experience and advanced techniques to harmonize the intensity needed for photos with a refined, real-life appearance.
Bridal makeup is also a luxurious VIP service designed to provide the bride with a unique and memorable experience on her special day. This service includes comprehensive skin preparation using two types of masks from luxury skincare brands to ensure a flawless complexion, attention to the neckline or exposed back depending on the dress style, the application of false eyelashes, and a personalized makeup touch-up kit for the day. There is also the option to use the airbrush technique for an even more refined finish. The entire application process takes between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the chosen style and details.
Whats is airbrush make-up?
Airbrush HD makeup offers flawless coverage that feels weightless and natural, even on problem skin. The best part? It lasts for up to 16 hours, remaining pristine through heat, tears, and long hours, making it perfect for your big day.
This technique is also highly hygienic, as the spray application ensures no direct contact with the skin. I recommend airbrush makeup for an all-day, perfect look, especially if you’re being filmed in HD or photographed professionally.
Note: Airbrush makeup is not recommended for those with facial fuzz
What is included in the “groom’s beauty” service?
Makeup for the groom might seem like an unnecessary service, but it’s amazing how easily makeup can hide redness, dark circles, last-minute blemishes, and uneven skin tone — all while keeping things subtle, so no one will even notice.
This includes: proper skin moisturization, correcting dark under-eye circles and redness, a light powder foundation for a flawless finish, subtle male contouring, and grooming the brows with gel.
For the hair, we use styling wax or gel, followed by matte light hairspray to keep everything in place for the big day.
What are the specifics of bridal hairstyling?
Bridal hairstyling begins with careful preparation using a hairdryer and specialized styling products tailored to your hair type (curly, straight, fine, thick, unruly, Asian, etc.). This ensures extra hold and longevity for the final look. The process also involves meticulous attention to detail to perfect the style. Sophisticated updos, the use of extensions, and securing accessories or veils are all included in this service. The styling can take up to 2 hours, depending on the chosen style and the nature of your hair.
How many guests besides the bride can you prepare on the same day?
Our team is experienced in working on large weddings, and with over 12 trusted makeup artists and hairstylists, we can ensure that more than 40 guests are beautifully prepared and ready on time. Typically, it takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to prepare one guest’s beauty with a single artist, or 1 hour if both the makeup and hair artists work simultaneously. The exact timing will depend on the schedule of your wedding day, and we are here to coordinate everything smoothly for you and your guests.
What is meant by the “bridesmaid’s package”?
When the bride’s services are booked, her guests can enjoy a special reduced rate for their makeup and hairstyling. This includes either day or evening makeup, a light updo, or styled-down hair (such as curls or waves). False eyelashes are available upon request. Hairstyling is provided only on clean, dry hair (except for short haircuts, which must start damp for blow-drying). Additional charges apply for blow-drying medium or long wet hair, working with extensions, or very long hair. Preparation time per guest is approximately 1h30-1h45 with a single artist, or 45 minutes to 1 hour when both the makeup and hair artists work simultaneously.
My event will take place more than an hour away from Paris by car /outside France. Do you travel long distances or internationally?
We are happy to travel anywhere in France and abroad to provide our expert beauty services, with the only requirement being a minimum booking per day. Transport and accommodation costs are on the client’s charge. We’ve had the pleasure of working in beautiful destinations such as Italy, Greece, London, and Corsica, and we look forward to bringing our quality services to your location!
Where do the make-up/hairstyling courses take place?
The courses are primarily held at the beauty coworking space, located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. However, we can arrange for the course to take place at another location of your choice, provided it meets the necessary conditions (good natural light, a mirror, and a practical setup). Travel outside Paris is available upon request and incurs an additional fee.
Do you provide models for professional make-up artists/hairdressers trainings?
Typically, you will be asked to find volunteer models on your own, but we can assist by sharing announcements on our social media platforms. Additionally, our agency can arrange for professional models for the students, though this will incur an extra fee. For individual hairstyling courses, we provide the option to work on training heads with natural hair.
